Hawkeye Tack & Western Wear has been using Action Coach Monte Wyatt for the last two years. Our sales had been flat to declining for the last several years and we knew it was time to try something new. We found Monte by doing a search on the internet. When we started with Monte in 2007 sales were slumping. In 2008, we had a sales increase of 18% over 2007 even with the recession everyone is talking about.
When we started with Monte we did not track our key performance indicators nor did we have a good handle on our marketing results. Monte helped us develop systems to track our KPI's as well as identify where our customers were coming from and to determine which of our advertising was profitable, now we track each ad and use the profitable ones again and drop or revise the unprofitable ads.
With Monte's help we have set up systems to help our business run smoothly, we were able to take a week off last fall, something we had not done in 15 years. Morale is at an all time high, our average sale, items per sale and conversion rate have all increased. The best thing has been our profit margin has also increased; we have increased sales without discounting.
